ATTORNEY PROFILE
STACEY KAELIN SCHULTZ
Attorney Schultz became an attorney to help people. She believes that knowledge is power in the legal system.
Attorney Schultz is an experienced trial attorney focusing her practice on DUI, Criminal and Motor Vehicle Defense. She is able to provide the best possible defense by drawing on her extensive background and knowledge of the system.
Before becoming a defense attorney, she was an Administrative Law Judge and Hearing Examiner where she maintained a neutral role. She applied the law equally and listened carefully to both sides. During this time, she witnessed many people at a disadvantage because they were unrepresented by counsel. In her role, she was not permitted to offer legal advice. For this reason, she chose to switch her position to defense attorney, where she believes she can make a difference in peoples lives.
She began her career as a prosecutor in Belknap County, gaining years of trial experience. As a prosecutor, she was sympathetic to each defendant's circumstances and believed in second chances. She continued her work at the Department of Justice Criminal Bureau where she prosecuted homicides and other high profile cases. She was a member of the Public Integrity Unit where she prosecuted excessive use of force by police officers. She responded to officer involved shootings and determined whether circumstances were justified. She drafted and argued appeals before the New Hampshire Supreme Court.
